RSD 2024: Light in the Attic's Record Store, Seattle

What started as a tiny shop in our old Ballard warehouse in 2013 is now a full-fledged, 7-year-old brick-and-mortar (est. 2016) uniquely located in downtown Seattle's KEXP Gathering Space.

The shop carries Light in the Attic releases, of course, but did you know that we also carry thousands of additional distributed releases, used records, and merch? We also sell albums specially hand-picked by KEXP DJs. Most recently, we collaborated with KEXP's Diana Ratsamee (Eastern Echoes) to launch a curated Eastern Echoes bin in the shop.

Address: 472 1st Ave N, Seattle

Hours: Weekends: 8AM - 6PM // Weekdays: 7AM - 6PM

About Record Store Day:
Record Store Day was born in 2007 by a group of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture of independently-owned record stores in the US and internationally.

And now, allow us to introduce you to the new Light in the Attic Record Store manager, Travis Ritter, as he gives us a tour of the shop and highlights some of our favorite releases for Record Store Day 2024!
